GODDE888 was born from the best year of my life.
I'd been living in London before. You can imagine what that looks like.
Desk, deadlines, the kind of busy that feels productive but leaves you empty.
I knew who I wanted to be, I just wasn't being her. Life there didn't really leave room for it.
So I walked away. No plan, no fixed timeline, just a decision to go and actually live for a while. I chose Thailand as my first stop and something about it just clicked.
I started training every day, Muay Thai, martial arts, long runs up to the Big Buddha in Phuket, Saturday beach workouts with friends, yoga in the afternoon, hikes whenever we could fit them in.
The days were packed with movement and I'd never felt better in my life. I was sweating, laughing, sore in the best way, and slowly becoming the version of myself l'd always had in mind but never quite reached.
And through all of it, I was living in activewear. Morning to night, every single day.
Which is how I started noticing the problem. The sets I was buying in Thailand were scratchy, stiff, cheap against the skin, nothing moved with you, nothing held you in the right way.
I wanted something that felt like butter, that felt like a hug to your body, that snatched you in all the right places and made you feel as good as you looked. The pieces built to perform were ugly and the ones that looked good fell apart the second you actually trained in them.
I wanted both and I couldn't find it anywhere.
